Children
Grub Groups
Groups for babies, toddlers & Primary School Children, Sunday Mornings,

Grub Groups (Growing Up In The Bible) seek both to support parents by teaching children about Jesus and to help children love Sundays by providing good fun Bible teaching times.
Grub Groups meet during part of our regular Sunday morning church meetings. Our hope and prayer for our children is that they will be following Christ and we want to do everything we can for them as a church to see them grow in spiritual maturity. This can only happen when they themselves are regularly and seriously engaged with God’s word.
There are three age groups on Sunday mornings:

Guest Events
Alive & Kicking
Alive and Kicking is a summer event for primary school children (ages 4-11). It's an afternoon of sports and a short talk about what Christians believe. With individual winners and a winning team, there is a medal ceremony at the end as well as refreshments for participants and their parents.
More details will be available for Alive & Kicking 2012 in due course.
Nativity from Scratch
Nativity From Scratch is our annual event for children who are of primary school age. It takes place on a Saturday close to Christmas, where we invite parents to drop their children off early in the afternoon, and return a couple of hours later to watch them perform in their very own Nativity play, explaining the real meaning of Christmas put together from scratch! See above for the 2011 video.
Summer Camp for Year 6s and their friends
Year 6s are invited to join Real Food Micro at a brilliant summer camp called Casterton One that will be running in Summer 2012. Do invite your friends along too. Casterton One is a fantastic holiday and is a brilliant opportunity to hear more about the message of Jesus for our young people and their friends. Based in a boarding school (but without the teachers), there’s activities (rock-climbing, canoeing, hill walking, kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, archery, drama, dance and more!), sports, crafts, outings and trips, space to relax and loads more.
