Real Food Micro
Youth group, Wednesdays 3:30pm, Dumbarton Road Building

Real Food Micro is for young people in school years 7-9. We want to help you live for Jesus and to provide a place for you to invite your friends to hear the gospel in a friendly environment.
On Wednesdays after school at 3:30pm we meet at the Dumbarton Road Building for an hour and half of toast, hot chocolate, crazy games and Real Food - some fun time studying the Bible together. We also have a few wacky socials each term. Micro is an easy place to bring your friends to hear something of the good news about Jesus every week and each term we have at least one guest event for you to invite their friends along to.

Sunday mornings
Sundays 10:30am, The Sixth Form Centre, Ripley Academy

On Sunday mornings we learn alongside the adults in the Sunday Bible talks. We hope that this will challenge and stretch you in their understanding of the Bible and help you to take part in the life of our church family. Each month during term time, on the second Sunday, we meet together to have breakfast. Here we introduce some of the topics coming up in the sermon series, ask questions and feedback what we’ve been learning.
One to ones
To help and encourage you to engage regularly with God’s word we offer each young person in Year 9 and above the opportunity to meet with one of our Youth Leaders every fortnight either in pairs or on their own. These one-to-ones are a great opportunity for you to get stuck into the Bible, learning from an older brother or sister in Christ and provide you with prayerful support and encouragement as you live for Jesus at school and at home.
What's on throughout the year
Rooted
Termly topical event for High Schoolers and Sixth-Formers
Rooted is a termly event we run where we look at certain topic or issues that particularly affect young Christians. We find out what God has to say about each of these from the Bible and discuss together how best we might put God’s wisdom into practice in our own lives. All so we might continue to be ‘rooted and built up in Christ Jesus’.
Casterton One
Summer Camp for 11-14s, Saturday 21st- Saturday 28th July 2012

Casterton One is a camp that all our 11-14s go on. The camp aims to serve local churches by teaching their 11-14 year olds the good news about Jesus on a fun packed holiday. A large number of our church family are involved as leaders on this camp so our young people are surrounded by familiar faces as they spend the week delving into God’s word.
Maidwell One
Summer Camp for 14-18s, Saturday 21st - Sunday 29th July 2012
Maidwell One is a camp our 14-18s go on along with a number of our youth leaders. Like Casterton the young people are encouraged to learn from other Christians as they study God’s word together and have a great time. Many Casterton campers move on to Maidwell when they are old enough so it is also an opportunity to renew old friendships as well as make new ones.
