Sundays
We believe that church ought to be the high point of the week for Christians. We gather together as God's people to hear God speak to us through his word, the Bible, to respond in praise and prayer, and to encourage each other to respond to God's word with changed lives.
Sunday mornings
Our main meeting, in which the whole church family gathers together, is at 10.30am each Sunday at the Sixth Form Centre, Ripley St.Thomas C of E High School (see directions). The central part of the meeting usually lasts for about 90 minutes, but coffee is available from 10am, and again at the end of the morning, so there is plenty of time to chat and get to know people.
During the Bible talk children attend their own Grub Groups with age appropriate Bible teaching. There is also Bible time for babies. See our Families section for more details.

Sunday evenings
Real Food is our small group Bible study programme for all the adults at Moorlands.
Sunday evening Real Food is specifically geared towards students and young adults. We start at 6.00pm during University term time, hear a short talk on an area of Christian living or Doctrine and sing one or two songs. We then eat together and then have small group Bible study and spend time in prayer. We normally finish at around 8.15pm with a cakes and hot drinks. For more information, click here.
On the first Sunday evening of each month the rest of the church family joins Sunday Night Real Food for our Church Family Prayer Supper, which begins at 6.00pm.
