What is Mid-Year-Conference?
MYC is an opportunity to dig deeper into a single, big biblical theme, through stretching and challenging teaching in talks and seminars. We get to understand the whole Bible, the theme of the conference and the purpose of our lives in the light of the central message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What’s this year’s topic all about?
Many of us are confused about the Holy Spirit. He seems mysterious and unknowable; more of a force than a person. Or we might look at other Christians and feel like we’re missing out on something. We have questions like: what does it mean to be a Spirit-filled Christian? How does he work in us today? At MYC this year, we would love to clear away some of the confusion so that we can rejoice together in the life-giving work of the Holy Spirit of God.

Activities
Alongside great Bible teaching, we also enjoy a whole range of fun activities. This year there will be a Chinese New Year Celebration and we will also walk up Todd Cragg (where the first photo was taken).
Accommodation
We’ll be staying at Brathay Hall on the northern shore of Lake Windermere. There will be separate accommodation for male and female students. All of the rooms are dormitories which range from two to six beds in each, and mostly consist of bunk beds. All bedding will be provided.
Cost
The price covers food, printing and accommodation costs. We try to keep the costs as low as possible but if you have any money concerns please tell Joe S or Lydia S. We don’t want the cost to stop you coming!
